How do I request a Cova Engineer? 

Whether it’s a planned preventative maintenance, breakdown, regular or one-off service, our Cova Field Service Engineers have extensive knowledge and experience in our own range of products AND almost all other perimeter security and powered gate products including bi-fold gates, cantilever sliding gates, road blockers, rising bollards and barriers – within the UK and internationally. 
 
Cova products are covered with a Cova minimum 12-month warranty. 
 
We also offer a range of bespoke Cova service and maintenance plans for powered perimeter security products that are out of warranty or that have not been manufactured or installed by Cova Security Gates, subject to a site survey. 
 
Our Cova service & maintenance plans are flexible and can be tailored to your specific needs and can be extended beyond the initial 12 months Cova warranty. 
 
Options include gold, silver or bronze care plans, which include 4 to 12-hour rapid responses, emergency 7 day a week, 365 days a year call out service, right through to standard type maintenance agreements and service contracts. 
 
Terms and conditions will apply to each bespoke Cova service and maintenance plan and our Cova support team would be pleased to advise you.

How can I order replacement parts? 

Our Cova support team can provide your perimeter security with replacement motors, photocells, safety edges, beacons, blocker skirts, covers, loop kits and push button stations among other critical spare parts.

I don't have any service agreement with you can you still help? 

Even if you do not have a Service Contract with us, our Cova support team will do our best to help and if required, can arrange to schedule one of our trained Field Service Engineers to visit.  
 
Please note that priority is given to our Contract Customers and you will incur a charge for the visit. 

Do you do system upgrades? 

Additional infra-red photocell upgrades – providing enhanced obstruction detection within the path of moving equipment, to stop and reverse the equipment on detection, thus preventing the risk of vehicle impact damage or personal injury.  
Light curtains – providing enhanced obstruction detection within the path of moving equipment, again to stop and reverse the equipment on detection, thus preventing the risk of vehicle impact damage or personal injury. 
Flashing beacons, sounders and spoken messages can be all be interfaced to be initiated on raise/lower or open/close cycles. 
Laser type area scanners to detect presence within potential entrapment zones and stop and reverse the cycle.

We will conduct a Gate Assessment Survey including Force Test and Risk Assessment by our qualified engineers. A site survey may be required before contract offer/price can be submitted and any subsequent recommendation may need to be completed prior to contract inception.
