Cova provided a complete perimeter solution a new development to include a bespoke decorative swing gate to the main community entrance, as well as providing safe pedestrian access into the complex, including two of our NEW products - the CSG 10607 Bi-Folding Overhead Tracked Car Park Gate for the residents and visitors, providing secure access and egress to their communal car park.

Our bespoke car park bi-folding gate was designed specifically for internal or underground car parks with limited or restricted space internally as its unique feature is that the motor to power the gate is contained inside the gate leaf post.

Already installed at the world’s most famous luxury retail store in London, this product has now been rolled out to many UK and international underground car parks, including sites at the Met Police where there is limited space behind the gate opening to house the motor externally in a separate box.

“I thoroughly enjoyed Project Managing and personally designing not only 2 of our newly launched underground bi-folding gates for Berkeley homes new development, but also designing an additional bespoke decorative swing gate for their main communial communal entrance and a matching pedestrian gate.

This new housing project was sensitively designed, using traditional brickwork to respond to the architectural context of period properties in the local area which provided 48 apartments within a gated community. This is just one of many projects that Cova have worked on with Berkeley to provide their residents and visitors with private secure vehicle and pedestrian access 24 hours a day 365 days a week.” added Danny Gibson, Cova Project Manager.
