Project Background

Brunei maintains 35 embassies and high commissions and for this project, Cova provided high-level HVM perimeter protection for a brand new Embassy building in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

Client Requirement

Tokai Engineering approached Cova to assist them with their project for the newly built Brunel Embassy, in Cyberjaya, Malaysia.

Cyberjaya is likened to the Silicon Valley of Malaysia, so their requirement was for the highest quality vehicle gate protection available, to prevent any vehicle-borne attack.

The product Tokai Engineering chose was our PAS 68: 2010 Cova crash-rated bi-folding gate model CSG 10640 which has been tested to prevent a 7.5-tonne vehicle travelling at 64km/h or 40mph.

Protecting people and property was their highest priority as this was a purpose-built brand new embassy in the region and Tokai were reassured that our CSG 10640 model is one of the first crash-tested bi-folding gates in the world, specifically designed to prevent vehicle-borne terrorist attacks.
