Cultural Opening For Cova Security Gates at New International Hub
Cova will be adding additional drama and theatre to one of the world’s largest cultural quarters in Hong Kong by having designed and manufactured a colossal bespoke trackless bi-folding gate, to help secure the 150 square mile district.
Cova have created this unique product (Model CSG 10601) especially for the hub of culture which will accommodate multiple museums, theatres, concert halls, art galleries and education venues.
Standing at 5m high and spanning a width of 10m it will provide a spectacle to thousands of visitors attending the hundreds of venues within the district area. When the venue fully opens more than 9m visitors are expected to visit the hub and will employ more than 11,000 people.
CSG’s first generation bi-folding gate (CSG 10601) was originally designed specifically to provide solutions for such requirements, in cases where exceptionally high and wide openings are critical factors to secure vehicle access between the building walls.
Gates of this mammoth size can also be spotted up and down the length and breadth of the UK from the North of Scotland to the South of England and at many high-profile businesses, governmental departments and landmarks.
Our Production Manager gives the team a debrief prior to filming commencing.
Watch our latest time lapse video which captures our gigantic gate being built in super quick time.
It took military precision and co-ordination by our Producton Team and was filmed over 2 days. This is an example of our standard processes where we Factory Acceptance Test (FAT Test) our products to simulate the approved operational philosophy established with the client.
We do this for EVERY product we design and manufacture in our UK facility and proudly invite our end client to see their investment working in our factory prior to installation.
