Cova present a unique ‘gate parts’ gift to employee after 30 years’ of service!

(Due to current restrictions a small outside gathering was held to celebrate his retirement)
Mark receives his bespoke 'gate parts' gift from #TeamCova on his retirement.
With our strapline, Invention not Convention we couldn't resist presenting our Field Service Engineer of 30 years with an exclusively designed and manufactured, bespoke walking stick as an unusual farewell gift made entirely from our 'gate parts'!
Mark has suffered from a bad back for some time, so as well as other gifts we showered him with, this was a unique opportunity to (literally) send him off with our support and he was delighted!
Cova invited both present and past employees to celebrate this very special occasion and to reminisce on past visits, call-outs, and installations together. It was a great afternoon for Mark to say a fond farewell.

“Having known Mark since he started I consider him a master crafts man, a diligent worker. He has always been very considerate at work, and great with clients despite carrying out his duties with a bad back.
We hope his unique parting gift of a walking stick made from our gate parts will remind him of his long-standing time with Cova."

Neil Charles, Field Service Manager presented Mark with a designer watch and Ticketmaster vouchers on behalf of the entire team. “Mark has been a huge asset to Cova, he will be missed by the entire business, we wish him well in his retirement." he added.
Meryl Brooks, Customer Account Administrator commented.
“Mark wrote the neatest handwritten and best engineers reports! He has a font of knowledge on our products and was always keen to get to the job to find the problem asap and fix it. Many blue chip clients asked for him by name to attend site, that's how valued and liked he is.”
