CTSS Awards 2012 Finalist

We are proud to announce that Cova Security has been chosen as a finalist in the Perimeter Protection and Intrusion Detection category of the CTSS Awards 2012. These awards are designed to recognise outstanding products, services and solutions to ensure we live in a safer world.
Along with other companies from across the counter terrorism, defence and security arena, we were invited to submit products or services for consideration.
We chose to showcase the latest addition to our range, the innovative CSG 10140 Crash Tested Sliding Cantilevered Gate, and we are delighted to have reached the finals with this low cost PAS 68: 2010 rated product, capable of stopping a 7.5 tonne vehicle at 40mph.
This crash tested product was designed to offer a cost effective perimeter security solution that could be used to both protect critical infrastructure in a counter terror/threat scenario, and also to prevent unauthorised vehicle access such as ram raiding or riot related crime, withstanding direct impacts of substantial force.
The gate was also specifically developed to allow it to be sympathetically blended into any perimeter line through use of cladding which can complement a new or existing fence line.
Award winners in each category will be announced during Counter Terror Expo, at the Gala Dinner being held at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington on 25 April.

The CSG 10840/50 Shallow Mount Bollard is designed to protect critical national infrastructure from Vehicle Borne Improvised Explosive Devices, whilst maintaining the most stringent aesthetic brief and can be installed into utility-rich, undulating, shallow substructure.
10506 CRASH TESTED SHALLOW PIT MOUNTED ROAD BLOCKER
The CSG 10506 Shallow Mount Road Blocker, having been crash tested in 2005, is now protecting not only national critical infrastructure, but global critical infrastructure, including HSBC Istanbul as a direct result of their terrorist attack in 2003.
