CSG are the UK's leading manufacturer of Speed Gates
and can offer a comprehensive range of gate/door options
to meet individual site operating conditions.
The 10600 range provides a number of structural and
drive solutions to meet varying site conditions. All
gates are designed to operate continuously at high speeds
thus resulting in an ideal solution for vehicular access
control where security, high speed operation and relaibility
are essential.
Why Speed Gates?
Automated swing gates are relatively slow in operation;
this is mainly for safety reasons, as the speed of the
leading edge(s) is quite fast.
The energy within the swinging leaf is considerable
resulting in vicious deceleration at the fully closed
and fully open positions, usually accompanied by noise,
vibration and strain on the leafs.
Due to the slow speed of operation, the gate entrance
remains open for a longer period of time thus increasing
the liklihood of 'tailgaiting' and vulnerability of
pedestrian access.
The conventional swing gate takes-up considerable room
in the open position usually hindering parking spaces
or prohibiting turning in confined areas.
10601 - Standard Speed
Gate
Standard Speed Gate utilises a conventional 'top box'
housing drive gear.
10603 - Compact Speed
Gate
Utilising either hydraulic or pneumatic drive options
housed in a slim 'top box'. Particularly suitable where
lack of headroom is an issue.
10604 - Trackless Speed
Gate (Patent Applied)
The Trackless Speed Gate provides the perfect solution
where overhead restriction or ground difficulties
is a significant factor.
10605 - Trackless Speed
Gate (Patent Applied)
