Field Ops Quote Admin 

 
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented service quotations co-ordinator to join our team. Working from Engineer’s reports and technical specifications, the successful candidate will be key point of contact between our Field Engineers and the Service Team, being responsible for providing accurate, timely quotations and updates, ensuring that all quotes are in line with the company’s pricing policies and procedures. 

Field Service Engineer 

 
We are looking for a field service installation and maintenance engineer to join our team full time! 
 
As part of our Field Service team, you’ll be working mobile, carrying out the full installation of our perimeter security products. You'll also be attending existing sites (installations) to carry out maintenance operations such as routine checks, emergency call outs and repairs for clients to assist to aid them in the upkeep of their gates, barriers and road blockers. As well as our own products, we also look after other gate and barrier products by other manufacturers. 
 
Working closely with our administration team, you’ll visit new and existing clients mainly within London and South East, but also across the UK (occasional foreign travel is an option). We have sites across the world and depending on knowledge, ability and experience, there are travel opportunities. 

Mechanical Design Engineer 

We are looking for a mechanical design engineer to join our design team in delivering innovative solutions as new threats emerge. As a member of our design team, you will work with our clients to determine their requirements. You will produce bespoke site layout drawings to the client’s specifications and product manufacturing drawings in accordance with the latest legislation using the latest mechanical design software available, AutoCAD, Inventor 3D & Autodesk Vault. 

Electrical Design Engineer 

 
We are looking for an electrical design engineer to join our design team in delivering innovative solutions as new threats emerge. As a member of our design team, you will work with our clients to determine their requirements. You will produce bespoke electrical drawings in accordance with the latest legislation using the latest electrical control technologies available. You will be write PLC programs, and oversee factory testing of the overall product. 
 
We will of course offer product familiarisation and training. After time you'll support other members of the Design team, and our field service engineers out on the road. 
 
You'll actively be involved in our research and development for new innovative products we are looking to bring to market in 2023. From time to time, you will attend trade shows and seminars to learn about developments in the industry. 

Final Assembly Fitter 

 
To ensure that the products and services supplied by Cova Security Gates Limited are produced to specification and in accordance with requirements agreed by the client. 
 
Due to a busy order book we are recruiting 3 x Final Assembly Fitters who will be receiving the drawing(s) and Works Instruction from our Design Department and once manufactured, you will assemble the materials into a finished product ensuring that the aesthetics of the products are finished to a very high standard and quality. 
 
Cova are renowned in the industry for their quality manufactured, fitted, and finished product range – the final stage is approval from the Production Manager, factory testing of the product in full working order to the customer specification, and you’ll assist with packing getting the products ready for collection or delivery. 
 
The role will be based at our 20,000 sq ft factory in Crawley, near Gatwick Airport, West Sussex and for safety are adhering to guidelines with social distancing in the workplace. 
 
We are only looking for candidates within a commutable distance to Crawley.
